I began to practice fencing in primary school, and foil is my best weapon. I also like swimming and playing badminton. In my spare time, I like to spend a lot of time on these favorite sports. Because I like them, no matter how tired I am, I am always willing to do it.
In my opinion, students should not only study, but also exercise regularly to improve their immune systems. They should not become a bookworm who can only read books. I made a lot of new friends when I learned fencing. Fencing helped me to adjust my mental state and look at winning and losing in a correct way. I would no longer cry and lose my temper because of failure, but spend more time to improve myself.
For me, study and sports are a combination of work and rest. I usually allocate my study and exercise time reasonably. I practice Fencing for three hours four times a week, with a professional team every Saturday. So I spend about 18 hours a week on fencing training. Every time the professional competition approaches, I spend Saturday and Sunday at training camp. During the training camp, I spend nearly 23 hours on fencing training every week.
In my spare time, I often practice core strength or running to improve my physical fitness. During the competition, I will meet many professional teams, and EVERY time I participate in the competition, I will try my best to achieve better results. I will also balance the time for academic study and training, improve the efficiency of study and training, and using the limited time to improve my fencing skills.

The sport I am good at is tennis. I have been learning tennis for four years. I have also won many awards, such as the champion of the 13-year-old group in Shanghai, the third round in China, and two third place prizes and one second place two recent Shanghai competitions. I may choose to go to the University of California in the future, because there is a good tennis atmosphere and a top tennis school team, and the learning atmosphere is also very good. Of course, I face many problems, such as how to balance tennis training and study, which is definitely a concern, because many people may choose one over the other. First of all, I think it is possible to juggle between them. I take lessons seriously, focus on thinking positively, and make sure to proactively ask teachers for help to resolve questions during my time at school. I also want to make good use of after-school time, to finish homework efficiently, because after all training strongly affects time to complete a heavy homework load. But when a person does a thing for a long time, they will certainly feel tired, feel that they do not want to continue to practice. What we can do is to remember our original intention, stick to it, not give up halfway, enjoy the process and feel the happiness brought by practice. Tennis has also brought me a lot of things. It has let me make friends, meet some stars, broadened my vision, taught me to enjoy the process of doing anything, and at the same time, it has taught me to not give up easily. These are all the reasons why I like tennis.

My best ball game is basketball. Basketball occupies most of my spare time. I love this game very much. I will try my best to do well in this sport I like. In 2019, I participated in a 3-for-3 match in Shanghai division. Although there were opponents with good skills, I still got the sixth place in Shanghai by virtue of my tacit cooperation with my teammates.
The application season will soon be intense, so I plan to study business and learn some courses about marketing and human resources. My dream school is the University of Southern California. Because USC's basketball team is ranked no. 1 in California. that's one of the reasons WHY I chose USC.
In my campus life, I can't do without both learning and some appropriate sports. I will weigh the pros and cons, allocate my time reasonably, and do some sports beneficial to physical and mental health while stabilizing GPA, such as basketball. Sometimes when I face the computer and homework for a long time, my eyes and body feel extremely tired. I will go to the court to shoot, stretch and practice my physical fitness to relax.
